The Charmed Life Project
Ep 1 - The Law of Divine Oneness (Part 1 of the 12 Universal Laws Series)
EPISODE 1: The Law of Divine Oneness – Everything is Connected
Welcome to the very first episode of our podcast! We’re kicking things off by diving into the foundational truth behind all spiritual and universal understanding — The Law of Divine Oneness.
You may be familiar with the Law of Attraction, but did you know it’s just one of 12 Universal Laws? In this episode, Kim and Gina explore the very first and most foundational of them all: the Law of Divine Oneness — the idea that everything in the universe is interconnected.
From the spiritual to the scientific, we unpack how this law is at work in every aspect of your life. You’ll learn:
- What the Law of Divine Oneness actually means — and why it’s the root of all other universal laws
- How your thoughts, emotions, and energy affect not just you, but the collective whole
- The ripple effect of kindness, negativity, and intention — and how your inner world creates your outer world
- Scientific support for interconnectedness through concepts like quantum entanglement, the butterfly effect, and fractals
- Spiritual insights into collective consciousness, intuition, and divine energy
- What ancient texts, major world religions, and even biology have to say about unity and oneness
- How to embody this law in your everyday life to create more peace, purpose, and alignment
We also get personal, sharing stories from our own lives, family dynamics, and the importance of embracing your own wholeness before expecting it from the outside world. Kim shares a beautiful moment with her father that reveals how this universal truth bridges belief systems, while Gina brings in mystical interpretations of Jesus, spiritual downloads, and how to tap into the collective hive mind.
Whether you consider yourself spiritual, religious, scientific, or just curious — this conversation is for you.
✨ Key takeaway: When you recognize that you are not separate from others, from nature, or from Source… everything begins to change.
🎧 Tune in and learn how embracing the Law of Oneness can help you become more connected to yourself, others, and the universe.

In August we have a couple of pivotal points happening. So the full moon in August is August 9th, and then we have our New Moon in August on the 23rd. So the full Moon on August 9th is in Aquarius. It's all about shifting your thinking. Community, bringing community together, big global changes and a very diverse perspective on what is happening globally. But this is all about the collective coming together. And then with the New Moon and Virgo on August 23rd. It's really going to highlight your health routine, self-care, getting your body in balance, but also giving you this profound reality check to make changes in your own life. So putting that all together. There's gonna be this want and this need for community and bringing things together. And then with the full Moon and the New Moon, both are shifting your thinking so that your body, soul, mind are all coming into balance. So you're gonna expect a little bumps in August if you don't go with the flow, but also expect magic to come in as well, because with this. New Moon and Virgo and really diving into self-care, there's gonna be something for that, meaning like there's gonna be a purpose for it. So there might be a lot of pregnancies coming in. There might be a lot of. Body changes, tuning into unexpected surprises. That's really diving into fertility as well. So August, if you're trying to make a baby, have at it and have so much fun.'cause August is a month to do it.
Kim:We are going to be kicking off our first few episodes by talking about the 12 universal laws. Now you probably have heard of the law of attraction. This is obviously very popular right now. It has been for some time, but what you may not know is that this is just one of the universal laws, and each law is just as potent and as important as the law of attraction. Many of these laws you may have heard before in some context or another, but you probably don't realize that they are all a part of this full system of ideology that not only explains but governs how the universe works. And this is true on a very large. Macro level, but it's also very personal individual on a micro level as well. So what are universal laws? Most people would describe these as spiritual laws, not necessarily scientific laws, but what I think is important to point out is that they did evolve from a mixture of philosophy and modern science. They were built over time upon observations and experimentation which is scientific in nature, but typically when you were talking about scientific laws, it's very direct specific, A plus B, equal C type of laws. Whereas universal laws are more of these kind of overarching broad categories, and within them that many different concepts. As we dig into each of these laws, what you will come to find is that everything we know to be true about life. Reality in the universe fits very nicely into one of these categories, and you'll be hard pressed to find anything that negates or disproves them. As a matter of fact, once you learn these concepts and really understand them, you will continue to find more and more proof and more and more evidence, including scientific evidence to support them. You can really look to these when making any kind of decisions, and inevitably these laws will become a set of principles or guidelines for you. Anytime someone's interested in learning about spirituality or manifesting, I always encourage them to look up the 12 universal laws because it is just such a great starting place, for anyone that is seeking transformation or understanding. So of course, it made sense for us to kick off our first podcast by discussing them. So what are the 12 universal laws? We have the law of divine oneness, the Law of vibration, the law of action, the law of correspondence, the law of cause and effect, the law of attraction, the law of perpetual transmutation of energy. I know that one is a mouthful. The law of compensation, the law of relativity, the law of polarity, the law of rhythm, and finally, the law of gender. Now we obviously won't have time to go through all 12 laws in one episode, so just know we do have parts two and three and so forth to come until we get through all of them. But for today, we're going to start with just the first law, the law of Divine oneness. So the law of divine oneness states that everything in the universe is interconnected and a part of a unified whole. Essentially, we are all one and we are all connected. Gina, do you want to kick this off from a spiritual standpoint?
Gina:Oh yes. So I absolutely love the spiritual law of oneness because it's the basis and the foundation for all of the other laws. And everything grows from this specific law. So in talking about the law of oneness, it talks about the collective mind. And I recently heard this analogy that I'm gonna share with you and it makes so much sense to me, and I hope it makes sense to you too. I want you to imagine all of us are in our own individual houses and we all have electricity. Right. So when you get home from work, you turn on the lights. When I get home from work, I turn on the lights and we all plug in to electricity. And if we think about electricity as source, and turning our light switches on as energy. We all plug into the same electric current, the same electric source. And there is this profound thing that happens of my electricity is no different than your electricity. And we all plug into the source of electricity and it's all swirling around us. It's not an individual energy flow, There's no way to say My electricity is my electricity, and it doesn't go into your home at all whatsoever. We are all connected by source. And when we connect into source, there is this divine consciousness, this source energy, it's within all of us. Just like we all have electricity in our homes we are all interconnected. So the positive influence on, say our hive mind, our collective consciousness, if we're all high vibe and all positive, we share that within the collective consciousness. The same thing goes with negative emotions like trauma, fear of rejection, pain, sadness, um, grief, all of that we. Feel that collectively, how many times have you walked into a room and you have been in the best mood ever, and you walk into a room and you feel something funky and you're like, oh my gosh. And it shifts your energy, right? A lot of that is being an empath and being telepathic, and we will get into that in a later episode, but for the sake of the law of oneness. When we walk into a room and we feel that energy, we are tapping into the collective energy that's in the room. Your attitude directly lines up with what happens in your life. If we think more positively, the outcome is gonna be positive. If we think more negatively, the outcome is gonna be more negative. And so if you can control your thoughts, you can ultimately create your destiny and your reality, and your subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between reality and dreams. I talk about this with my clients all the time. When we're talking about collective energy and what's really transpiring I talk to them about leading by example. If you're trying to get a particular outcome, instead of trying to force it, control it, shove it in its place, if you lead by example and you become balanced and whole, then it has this ripple effect across your family, across your friends, and you will notice over the weeks, the months, the years that your energy. From you making a choice starts to have this ripple effect across your family and friends. So I want you all to try this with your family and friends or coworkers. Bring about the energy that you want in the situation and see how it unfolds in a more positive way, because this is a really concrete way to implement the law of oneness and get some return on it. And see what actually takes place. We are all interconnected and I feel like all of us have had. Those experiences, especially in dealing with COVI and politics we definitely were feeling the collective of what the hey is going on, you know? Mm-hmm. And so if that doesn't prove it. I don't know what will, but you'll notice that when one person is happy, we're all happy. When we're miserable. It's easier to be around more miserable people. Tapping into this collective hive, this collective brain is all about knowing that you have a piece of God, a piece of creator within your heart and your soul. It talks about that in the Bible and it talks about that in every spiritual text that we are all one. We are all interconnected. We have the creator's energy in us, and that's what makes us so special. We are not disconnected, we are not separate from it. We are all one, and if we directly connect into source and our creator, that is the only validation that we need. That is the only way forward is connecting into source, connecting into the creator, knowing that we are all one and having that outlook. And oh, by the way, it'll make you a better person too.
Kim:Yeah, absolutely. I love what you said about the ripple effect, because this is actually. A scientific concept as well. But I think like on a very individual level, when you talk about the ripple effect one smile creates many more smiles. One act of kindness creates many more acts of kindness. And so thinking about it. From that level, I think just helps put it into perspective for people. And I also love what you said about plugging in. I love that analogy, like that picture in my mind of plugging, in to get electricity because it, I. Is plugging into, the God within you, the intuitive mind within you. Intuition is also a scientific concept. There have been many experiments done and they have proven that your intuition can sense things. It knows things. It's right far before your analytical mind And so You have these moments of, how did I know that? Where did that come from? Or when you channel, you know, this Gina obviously very well you channel all the time. Yeah. It's like downloaded information and, I do this a lot when I'm writing. I'm like, whoa, who wrote that? I didn't, you know, I wouldn't have, my analytical mind wouldn't have come up with that yet. It went down on the paper. And where is that coming from? And you're definitely right. It's coming from deep within, but it's this collective mind, right? We all have different experiences. We're all viewing the world from these different perspectives and. Together. That's what makes the whole, and that's really what this law is about, the law of oneness, together, we are unified. We are one whole people, one whole universe. I did wanna touch a little bit on some science here behind it.'Cause as you know, I love to talk about that stuff. But the interconnectedness of all things can be observed in many different areas of science. In physics, on the subatomic level we have particles. We know they're all connected because of concepts such as quantum entanglement. Biology gives us the food web, which illustrates how all organisms are connected through their relationship with others. There's the cascade effect, which, if one organism dies off, there is a ripple effect. Throughout the ecosystem, impacting. All other species and the entire environment in ecology, all the ecosystems on earth are interconnected through the movements of water, air, nutrients, plants, animals, and so forth. We see this in the butterfly effect, which tells us that our actions affect everyone and everything around us, even if we don't realize it or see it right away. It's that hypothetical idea that even a small butterfly flapping its wings could somehow cause a typhoon, which is just wild to think about. There's fractal patterns. There's these repeating shapes and patterns that are found throughout the universe. Which also demonstrate that, at our core we are all the same. For example, there's spiral patterns and shells and whirlpools and hurricanes, galaxies, even our own DNA, we see the golden ratio or pie. Throughout the universe, you know, it's this mathematical concept, but it's found in all kinds of different forms and objects and creatures, from the great pyramids in Egypt to the tiniest speck of sand to the human body. And the list could go on and on. But we absolutely see this in science in so many different ways. Everything is interconnected in one way or another. And when we talk about oneness, I think it's really interesting to compare humans with the universe. If you look at like the veins in your hand, you look at the veins in a leaf, they're so similar. You can look at the human brain, the images of galaxies, they are indistinguishable from one another. And again, back to where I started, you see this in quantum physics. We are all made up of the same thing. At our core, we're made up of these subatomic particles that create every single thing in the universe. The fence post your dog, your car, the clouds in the sky, the galaxies, you, we all are made up of the same subatomic particles. So in that sense, again, we are all one. And you talk about the God within, if you wanna look at that from a scientific standpoint, the Big Bang is the most accepted theory for how the universe was created, which says that it began as this single point of existence, one tiny ball of energy that expanded and continues to expand, create everything that we see around us. So we all did come from the same source. That's not really debated among scientists, that's, they're all in agreeance on that being the most likely scenario. The majority of scientists, except that all life on Earth shares a common ancestor. But that also, takes us into religious beliefs because who's to say what we call this source. Many people would call this source God, or Allah or, you know, whatever name each religion gives to the source. But you find this idea across many different religions. So doesn't matter if you're looking at Christianity or Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, I'm sure that there's more, now, oneness obviously means, different things among each of these, but they do all emphasize oneness and unity as a core principle in one way or another. Most all religions have that in common, and again, just fits so nicely underneath this universal law. There's also many points in the Bible. John 1721 through 23 may all be one. As you father are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one, I and them, and you and me, so that they may be brought to complete unity. And then again in Corinthians 12 through 27, it really breaks down how there are different parts of the body that make up the whole. And each part is incredibly important to every other part. You know, our hands, our eyes, our nose,, each part has a job to do and they all need each other. And that's really this metaphor for people together being one body, one spirit. There's so many passages about God being within us and about being created in God's image to create as God creates. Jesus was kind of this example of that, he was believed to be the son of God, but also to be God in human flesh. And of course he created miracles., If we are all one, we're all connected. Then we are also one with God, just as we are one with each other, one with nature, one with the universe. So regardless of your ideology, it's there.
Gina:So I just have to chime in on this. Mm-hmm. With my personal interpretation of Jesus and the Bible. There are so many mystical undertones in the Bible. It's absolutely nuts. Even if you're not a Christian, not into the Bible, totally get you and feel you have your back in this. But there's so many mystical points. From a medium standpoint, Jesus was one of the greatest mediums of all time. He was a medium. He was an alchemist. He turned water into wine. He healed people of laying on of hands, took sickness away, helped people in that miraculous way. And oh, by the way, he talked to God. He talked to angels. His crew and his posse talked to angels and talked to God like it was a very mystical time period in our world So I love that you brought Jesus into this because I think he's really cool, mystical person and take those mystical principles and wisdom and make them our own.
Kim:Absolutely. And I love that you're pointing out that, you don't have to be religious to understand this concept and to apply it in your life. I think, I don't think my dad would, uh, mind if I shared this, but my dad would consider himself to be atheist Now, I am the furthest thing from that, right? I am very spiritual. I wrote a book all about spirituality. And so it was this really, scary thing for me when I handed my book over to him to read.'cause I thought, what is he gonna say about this section on faith and. I mean, I honestly thought he could have just handed it back to me and said, this is complete rubbish. Like that's how scared I was of it. Oh my gosh. But he read it and he came back and he was just, in awe saying, I love everything you said. I agree with everything you said. And so to come at it from that standpoint that whether you are atheist, whether you're religious, whether you're spiritual, these. universal laws work for everyone. Its often just a differnce in terminology. But I just found it so interesting that we could agree on these concepts of, this power being within us and being among us, this connectedness to everything that there is. And to me that's deeply spiritual. Um, but again, this is a universal law, so it doesn't matter where you fall on the spectrum of your beliefs. This applies to everyone and everything. My dad actually handed me his bible afterwards. His copy of the Bible, which it's kind of this impressive thing to hold in your hands because you can tell he has read that thing from cover to cover multiple times. He has like notes all along the margins. He's highlighted, he's underlined. There's articles and clippings put within the pages. And, um, he's, my dad's a very smart man. He taught history. He's a, he just has a very analytical mind and, when he is interested in something, he dives into it. And so he has always been very interested in God and religion and the Bible, and he has, like I books upon, books upon books from every different angle, every different point of view. They actually line the shelves of my house now, um, just because I have so many shelves. Not because I've read them all, Um, but anyway, I had opened. The reason I'm telling you this is because I had opened the Bible. To check one of these quotes that I was going to use, and I opened this page and this little clipping fell out and it was, from a newspaper. I mean, you could tell a long, long time ago. It's very discolored, but it's the family circus and it's this little boy, and he's with his mom, and they're looking at this great big canyon. And little boy says, the ranger said the river, dug the canyon Mommy. And you said, God did it. Who's right? The mom's looking like, oh gosh, how am I gonna answer this? You know? And I think that that illustrates just so wonderfully, we're all wanting to say, who's responsible for what? Is it the Ranger? Is it the canyon? Is it the river? Is it God? The answer is yes, it's everyone and everything. And I just think that that's really important to remember, when we're looking at. How to use this guiding principle in your life. It kind of goes to, look at the golden rule, look at karma. Treat others the way you wanna be treated. What you put out there, you get back, you know what you do to others, you inevitably do to yourself. Be kind, be helpful, be humble, and you'll receive those things that return. And I think that that's really the major, thing that you need to understand about the law of oneness.
Gina:Yeah, absolutely. This brings me directly to your brain is a muscle. Mm-hmm. Right? And so if you think about your brain as a muscle and as a tool, what you feed it, it then produces. So the more that you can learn to control the mind and control your thoughts. And get into the vortex of positive energy, that vortex of magical energy going into quantum physics with all of this, the more that you can really tap into that. And hold that true. The more blessings you are then going to have in your life. And it's such a powerful thing because a lot of people, I will even say this, no offense to my men out there, love you all to pieces, but sometimes you'll say that you are a realist. When really you're a pessimist. Mm-hmm. And it is not connecting in and not realizing, hey, you know what, if you're in traffic and you're in a bad mood,'cause you're in traffic, you're probably gonna be stuck there longer. And you're gonna feel bad in your body. But then if you think more positive thoughts, like yeah, maybe the traffic is gonna break up, but at the very least you're not gonna be in turmoil in your body while you're sitting there. You're gonna feel better. It's not gonna be as stressful.
Kim:Absolutely,. I always thought I was a realist, until I met my husband and then I realized, no, actually I was a pessimist. He is just such a positive thinker. He won't even tell me if he is. Sick. I'd be like, are you okay? Yeah, I'm fine. He will not speak of it. And you know what? Yeah. That man gets sick and he gets over it within 24 hours. He's just fine the next day. It never lingers on with him. It's wild. It's wild to actually see that in person. But everything just works out for him all the time. And when it doesn't. It's like no big deal. He's just like, eh, whatever. And, and then it becomes no big deal. Um, so I always love going to him with my problems. I know that he really appreciates that as well. But it's because he'll be like, what, what are you worried about? You know, so what, okay, yeah, we'll deal with it. It'll be fine. And sometimes you just need to hear that and you need to say that to yourself, have faith in the fact that. You can work through anything that you're resourceful and that you'll figure it out. Whatever comes up, you can figure it out. You got this. And I think like keeping that in mind is very important.
Gina:Yeah. I love hearing about your hubby and his level of positivity. Mm-hmm. Because I, that's how I am also, that's how I live my life. Mm-hmm. And if we think about this concept of the law of oneness, like if we really strip it down bare bones, without all of the science, without all the spiritual stuff, it is becoming one with you. That's what it's all about. Becoming so balanced in your mind, so balanced in your body and in your spirit, that you become one in whole with yourself, which equals one in whole within the creator, which then goes out to this universal oneness, so it's like the oneness is really being created within your vessel, within your temple. And then in return or what happens because of that, you are one with the creator because the creator is you and because you're one with yourself and the creator being you, then you're one with the collective is such a beautiful way to look at it. And who doesn't wanna feel whole?
Kim:For sure. And yeah, if you want love. Love yourself first. Mm-hmm. That's the only way you're ever gonna be able to receive love or attract love If you want respect, respect yourself first. You know, set your boundaries. Be intentional with the way you show up in the world. So it's like don't just treat others the way that you wanna be treated, but treat yourself the way you wanna be treated. Be kind to yourself. I heard this statistic one time and I'll. I don't know the exact number, but it was some crazy number, like 85% or something. Of people's thoughts are negative or negative Thoughts about themselves, about their environment, about their life. Think about what you're creating. If you are one with the universe, you are one with nature. You're one with God. That means you are creating all the time. And if you're speaking so negatively to and about yourself or other people like. Cut it out with the gossip, you know, like that's not, it's just you might as well be gossiping about your own self when you're doing that. And I'm, don't get me wrong, everybody loves to gossip from time to time. You get me and my best friend together, we're probably gonna say a few things that we wouldn't want anybody to hear. It's just the way it is. Like, I'm not nodding that, but catch yourself. When you're doing these things, when you're thinking those thoughts, when you're saying something mean about somebody else or making fun of somebody else, catch it. Pivot. Try intentionally to start thinking better thoughts and making the things that come outta your mouth beneficial to the whole.
Gina:Mm-hmm. Yeah, absolutely. Because when we gossip or when we're talking about people, we're judging them, right? Mm-hmm. And when we're judging someone else, it takes you away from oneness. Because you're then saying, who God or the Creator created over there doesn't meet my expectations, so they're bad and wrong. And then we're judging their spiritual path. And I see this a lot in my spiritual world where people get like so woke and so spiritual that they're like, oh, I can't even be around negative people anymore. And I'm like, really? Give me a room full of negative people and watch me work the room. Mm-hmm. You know, and, and you do, you light up the room. We can't judge other people's spiritual paths. We can't do it. There's a purpose for everyone and there is a profound purpose for pain. Yeah. And when people are going through pain, it is a calling from our creator, from the universe. To cleanse it. Mm-hmm. Which means changing our perspective around it, experiencing pain, so it changes our perspective so it can then be cleansed away so that we rise to the next level of consciousness.
Kim:Yeah, everybody is going through something. And I think recognizing that recognizing yourself and others is so important. Give them the benefit of the doubt. Try to. Look at it differently instead of looking at it as, oh, I can't believe this person said that, or, why are they frowning at me? Or, just think, man, they're going through something. I need to be even more kind to them right now. Mm-hmm. And I think in that same respect, when you're. Talking about like the way that you talk about others, celebrate other people. I think that is so important. Do not let jealousy and envy creep in. Again, it's natural, but catch it when it happens. When I'm seeing people that are from my hometown or my state and they're doing these amazing things in the world and they're creating businesses and they're following their dreams, they're living in this beautiful place or whatever it is. I am celebrating that. I'm going, wow, good for you girl. You know, like I'm really intentionally. Like egging them on. Because I really truly believe that what comes into your consciousness, what comes into your awareness is meant for you to see. And so I think it's really important. You know, we only see about 1% of the electromagnetic spectrum, and when you think of that, that all of these different things are going on, all of these energies that we're not privy to, and then you also look at things like the reticular activating system, which is basically where there's. Millions of different things going on all around you, you have no chance of being able to focus on it all. And so your reticular activating system is this part of your brain that tells you, Hey, look over here. Look over there. See this, you, we always hear the example of the, the car, right? You find a car that you like, all of a sudden you start seeing that car everywhere. The car was always there. You just didn't realize it because it wasn't. In your awareness, you weren't thinking about it the most. Mm-hmm. Um, we'll talk about this more with the law of attraction, but yeah, if someone else can do it, take that as a sign from the universe, as a sign from God that you know what you can too. Because there is no separateness. You're the same as the world's richest billionaires. You're the same as the world's greatest athletes. You're the same as the world's most incredible minds. And if they can do it, so can you.
Gina:All right, guys. Next week we will pick up right where we left off with the law of vibration, and we are super pumped to talk about this one too. We'll see you guys next time.
